How to Play

A new puzzle every day. Solve it in a couple of minutes.

// the puzzle

Each day an image is scrambled into a 4×4 grid of 16 tiles. Every tile starts in the wrong spot — your job is to put them back in order and rebuild the original picture.

// moving tiles

Click or tap a tile to select it, then click another tile to swap their positions. The two tiles animate into place. Keep swapping until the image looks right.

// the reference image

A small preview of the finished image is shown by default so you know what you’re building. Hit the eye button to hide it if you want a harder challenge — the puzzle stays the same, you just won’t see the answer.

// controls

  • Pause / play — the timer starts on your first move; pause whenever you need to step away.
  • Restart — reshuffles today’s puzzle from scratch if you want a fresh attempt.
  • Show / hide reference — toggle the finished-image preview on or off.
  • Mute — silences the snap sound on each swap.

// finishing

When every tile is in place the puzzle locks in and your time is recorded. Signed-in players keep a full history and a daily streak. Anonymous players have today’s time saved in their browser so it sticks around if you come back later.

// one a day

A new puzzle drops every day at midnight UTC. Solve today’s, share your time, and come back tomorrow for the next one.
